Peter's Grandpa Roger went to be with our Savior on Friday.
Our due date, ironically. Further reminder that the Lord is in control and his timing, although sometimes a mystery to us, is perfect.
Grandpa Roger was a strong Christian man, the true leader of his family. He had a soft spirit and was full of love. Peter looked up to him tremendously and he will be dearly missed.
We so wish our baby could have known his or her wonderful Great Grandpa, but we have the peace of knowing we will all see each other again someday.

That picture is absolutely precious. You should have that framed and hung in your house or the baby's room. Anywhere really. Praying for you guys in the days to come.
